Please note the following safety protocols must be adhered to while participating in these activities:
  • Stay home if you are feeling unwell.
  • Face masks are required while attending ORD programs with the exception of when actively participating in athletic activities, where it will be optional. Participants must provide their own face mask.
  • All participants must provide their own water bottles (filled prior to the start of their program) Participants are prohibited from sharing water bottles.
  • Students are encouraged to bring their own hand sanitizer, however, the ORD will also provide it if needed.
  • Check-in / Check-out procedures will be on a program specific basis depending on program location.  Social distancing will be enforced.

Cake Decorating Basics for Jr. Chefs

Description:
With the VIRTUAL guidance of Mrs. Melanie Wroblewski, we are offering one time opportunities to get our young chefs in the kitchen creating unique and edible fare.

Basic skills introduced include classic buttercream techniques, crumb coating, base coat frosting, basic piping skills including how to make a shell border and rosettes.
Bring to Class:
Supply kits will be provided, including most items needed along with further instructions for online participation prior to class time.
