Description:
This class is for students of all abilities.
Students should feel comfortable in deep water with a life jacket on. Lessons are provided on Hobie Wave catamarans.
Safety is always our first priority. Our instructors have completed sailing leadership courses through US Sailing and our staff includes lifeguards on the water. We adhere to US Sailing safety protocols.
This is not offered as an opportunity to open sail independently or as a boat rental.
Bring to Class:
All classes take place at Miller's Bay located in Menominee Park across from the softball diamonds.
Each student should bring the following:
Sunscreen
Swimming Suit
Towel
Water shoes or old sneakers (super important because zebra mussels can cut feet)
Water bottle full of water/beverage
Snack if they think they will need one
Dry clothes or sweats if it is chilly or rainy
We provide life jackets, but students may bring their own Coast Guard approved jacket if they have one.

Must be 9-15 yrs of age
