This outdoor treasure hunting game involves searching for hidden objects using clues and GPS (global positioning system) coordinates. You will need a CELLULAR DEVICE WITH DATA CAPABILITIES SO YOU CAN NAVIGATE TO A CACHE. A Geocaching App is required in order to participate. Those who sign up will receive directions on how to download and activate the app. Make a username prior to coming to class.
There is a free version and a premium version of the app. The premium version is $6.99/month or $39.99/year. This will allow you to find every geocache available. The free version limits the amount of geocaches available.
Wear good walking shoes and bring a small snack and water in a draw string bag.
