Adult Activities

Available on a drop-in basis.

Participants must purchase a punch card before attending a class. Cards are available for purchase at the ORD Office and on-site at the class location. Cards will only be sold BEFORE class at the on-site locations. Payment by check is preferred. Cash payments must have exact change. A maximum of 30 classes may be purchased per card. Participants can join a class at any time.

No refunds will be issued for any reason, including lost/stolen workout cards

Cards are valid from September 1, 2021 through August 31, 2022.

Cards from summer 2021 or prior are not valid.

Adult open gyms are available at the designated times and locations. Those wishing to participate in the activity must pre-register for the class prior to your arrival. The supervisor will havea class roster and will check you into the gym.

The Oshkosh Area School District is offering a Community Walking Program beginning in November and continuing through mid April at West High School. Individuals may walk the halls of a designated path at the school on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays when school is in session from 5:30-7:30 pm at West High School. A map of the walking route will be provided. There is no charge for this program but participants must register in advance at the Recreation Department and receive an identification badge. Participants should wear a comfortable walking shoe. Winter boots will not be allowed on the walking path.

A series of monthly workshops for those who want to take some time for themselves and create their own craft.

After this class you will have the confidence and knowledge to make your very own cake/cupcake creations using the tips and tricks learned in this class. No more having to buy at the grocery store, you will be able to create and decorate all on your own.

It provides plenty of exercise, eye-hand coordination and you do not have to be "super athletic" to play. This is a game of strategy, for both men and women of all ages. Open play is designed as "drop-in" play. If you don't know how to play, we will show you! You come when you can, leave when you must. Tennis shoes need to be worn. Racquets and balls will be provided.

Open to adult participants & youth who are 7 yrs and older. Participants will learn discipline, respect, self-confidence and self-defense.
